Here at AC Dog Academy we believe that engaging in a sport or activity with your dog can be super rewarding. Getting their noses engaged in scent detection can really encourage their energy levels to be channelled into something calmer. It can allow you more focused attention as well as a stronger connection between you and your dog.
We offer three levels of scent detection allowing you to progress should you choose too. This course is part of the WDSA man hunt and can be done simply for fun or you can choose to compete, the choice is yours!
You will begin in the beginner and once you pass, you will achieve a certificate and can then move onto the next level should you choose too.
The classes occur each week and can be bought in blocks. It's aim is to allow you and your dog to progress at your level rather than panic and push to keep up with the others in the class.
1-2-1's are also available for sports which allows those with dogs who don't do well in classes to also participate in the fun of sports!
Classes are 1 hour long.
Packages are available for both the recurring classes and 1-2-1's.
Online classes and 1-2-1's are also available for these scent classes.
